Prof. Dr. Yusuf Leblebici Discusses Science and Innovation Cooperation at the Embassy of Switzerland

Prof. Dr. Yusuf Leblebici, President of Sabancı University and former Chair Professor at EPFL, was hosted at the Embassy of the Switzerland in Ankara. During the visit, Prof. Dr. Leblebici met with Guillaume Bertrand Scheurer, Ambassador of Switzerland to Ankara, and Corinna Seiberth and Levent Durukan from the Embassy's Science and Innovation team. 

During the meeting held at the Embassy of Switzerland, ​​ideas were exchanged on combining Switzerland's strong research and innovation ecosystem with academic excellence in Türkiye, deepening scientific collaborations between the two countries, and developing new areas of partnership.

This meeting in Ankara, a continuation of the contacts initiated at the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator (GESDA) event held at Sabancı University in October 2025, once again demonstrated the shared will to advance cooperation between Türkiye and Switzerland in the fields of science diplomacy, research, and innovation with concrete steps.
